π₯ Objection handling
Competitor Objection Role Play: "We Already Use Another Tool"
Attacking the competitor makes buyers defensive. In this role play the rep compliments the choice, asks what they would improve, and earns a side-by-side trial.
Script (2 speakers)
Buyer: Honestly, we're happy with Clearpath. We've used it for three years.
Rep: Three years is a good sign. They're solid. What made you choose them originally?
Buyer: Price, mostly. And it was easy to set up.
Rep: Makes sense. If you could change one thing about it today, what would it be?
Buyer: <short pause> The reporting. I export to spreadsheets every Friday.
Rep: How long does that take you?
Buyer: Two hours. Every week.
Rep: What if Friday took ten minutes instead? Would a two-week side-by-side trial be worth it?
Buyer: If it doesn't mean switching yet... sure, let's try it.
