Returning an Item to a Shop: ESL Listening Dialogue (A2)
A A2 English listening dialogue. A customer returns shoes that don't fit and asks for a refund. Use it for listening practice, role play or homework, and generate the audio in a US, UK or Australian accent.
Dialogue Script (2 speakers)
Customer: Hi. I bought these shoes last week, but they don't fit.
Assistant: Oh, I'm sorry. Do you have the receipt?
Customer: Yes, here it is.
Assistant: Thanks. Would you like to exchange them for a different size?
Customer: I tried a bigger size, but they're uncomfortable.
Assistant: I see. Then I can give you a refund or store credit.
Customer: A refund, please. I paid by card.
Assistant: No problem. The money will be back on your card in three to five days.
Customer: Great, thank you for your help.
