At the Post Office: ESL Listening Dialogue (A2)
A A2 English listening dialogue. A customer sends a parcel abroad and chooses a delivery option. Use it for listening practice, role play or homework, and generate the audio in a US, UK or Australian accent.
Dialogue Script (2 speakers)
Clerk: Next, please.
Customer: Hello. I'd like to send this parcel to Australia.
Clerk: Let me weigh it. <short pause> Two kilos. What's inside?
Customer: Books and a small present.
Clerk: Would you like standard or express delivery?
Customer: How long does standard take?
Clerk: About two weeks. Express is five days, but it's more expensive.
Customer: It's a birthday present for next week, so express, please.
Clerk: That's thirty-five dollars. Here is your tracking number.
Customer: Thank you very much.
