At the Pharmacy: ESL Listening Dialogue (A2)
A A2 English listening dialogue. A customer with a cold asks a pharmacist for medicine. Use it for listening practice, role play or homework, and generate the audio in a US, UK or Australian accent.
Dialogue Script (2 speakers)
Pharmacist: Hi, how can I help?
Customer: I have a sore throat and a bad cough.
Pharmacist: How long have you had it?
Customer: Since Monday. About three days.
Pharmacist: Do you have a fever?
Customer: No, I don't think so.
Pharmacist: Okay. Try this syrup. Take one spoon twice a day, after meals.
Customer: Are there any side effects?
Pharmacist: It can make you a bit sleepy, so don't drive after you take it.
Customer: Okay. And if I don't feel better?
Pharmacist: If it doesn't get better in a week, see a doctor.
