Inviting a Friend to a Party: ESL Listening Dialogue (A2)

Dialogue Script (2 speakers)
Emma: Hey Carlos, it's my birthday next Friday. I'm having a party. Can you come?
Carlos: Happy early birthday! Yes, I'd love to come. What time?
Emma: It starts at eight o'clock, at my flat.
Carlos: Eight... I'm afraid I work until eight on Fridays. Can I come a bit late?
Emma: Of course! Come when you can.
Carlos: Should I bring anything?
Emma: Maybe some snacks or drinks. Nothing special.
Carlos: No problem. Is it a costume party?
Emma: <laugh> No, just normal clothes!
