Frequently Asked Questions
Does Spotify accept AI-generated podcasts? +
Yes. Spotify accepts podcasts made with AI voices as long as they follow its content policies. Many shows on Spotify use synthetic voices for narration, lessons and summaries.
Is the RSS feed free? +
Yes. Every ZenMic project gets its own RSS feed on every plan, including free. It is hosted for you and updates by itself.
How long until my show appears on Spotify? +
Usually a few hours after you confirm the code Spotify emails you. New episodes then appear within hours of publishing them in ZenMic.
Do I need my own cover art? +
Spotify accepts the default ZenMic cover, but your own artwork makes your show stand out in search. Custom cover art is part of the paid plans.
Is there a watermark on free episodes? +
Free audio ends with a short spoken "Made with ZenMic" line and free projects note it in the show notes. Paid plans remove both.
