Dialogue Script (2 speakers)

Manager: Thanks for coming in, Jordan. Let's start with the positives. You exceeded your sales targets by twelve percent this year. Jordan: Thank you. The new client in Hamburg made a big difference. Manager: It did, and the client feedback was excellent. They said you were always quick to respond. Jordan: That's good to hear. Manager: Now, one area for improvement. You often take on too much yourself, and you've worked very late several times. Jordan: That's fair. I find it hard to delegate. I worry things won't be done properly. Manager: I understand, but in the long run it isn't sustainable. And the junior team members need chances to learn. Jordan: You're right. Maybe I could give Sara the weekly reports? Manager: Good idea. Now, what are your goals for next year? Jordan: I'd like to take on more responsibility. Ideally, I'd like to lead a small team. Manager: I think that's realistic. Learning to delegate will be an important first step. Jordan: Would the company support some management training? Manager: Yes. There's a leadership course in March, and we'll cover the cost. Jordan: That would be great. Thank you. Manager: Let's write these goals down and review them again in six months.
