Examiner: We've been talking about a website you use. Now I'd like to ask you some more general questions. Do you think technology has improved education? Candidate: To a certain extent, yes. Students can find information much faster than before, and online videos make difficult topics easier to understand. Examiner: Are there any disadvantages? Candidate: I think so. Some students rely on technology too much. For example, they copy answers from the internet instead of thinking for themselves. Examiner: How could schools deal with that problem? Candidate: Well, teachers could give tasks that require critical thinking, like comparing two sources or explaining their own opinion. Then copying doesn't really help. Examiner: Do you think computers will ever replace teachers? Candidate: I don't think so, at least not completely. On the other hand, the role of teachers will probably change. They might become more like guides than lecturers. Examiner: Why do you think face-to-face teaching is still important? Candidate: Mainly because learning is social. Students learn a lot from discussing ideas with classmates, and a good teacher can see when someone is confused, even if they don't say anything. Examiner: Some people say children spend too much time on screens. What's your view? Candidate: I partly agree. Screens are useful for learning, but young children also need to play outside and read real books. So I'd say it's about balance. Examiner: Thank you. That's the end of the speaking test.
