We counted every finished audio made on ZenMic, an AI audio and podcast generator: 3,800 audios and 96 hours of sound from 1,308 accounts and 713 guest audios, made between March 2026 and 5 November 2026. These are the numbers on how long AI audio runs, how many voices it uses, what people make with it and in which languages.

## Methodology

- **Source:** the ZenMic production database. Every audio with status "finished" and a measured length is counted, from accounts and from guests who tried ZenMic without signing up.
- **Left out:** failed audios, audios their owner deleted, older audios with no recorded length, and audios made by the ZenMic admin account.
- **Who made them:** ZenMic users, so the numbers describe what people make with ZenMic, not all AI audio. Plan limits shape audio length: a free audio is capped at 2 minutes and a paid one at 10.
- **Length:** measured from the finished audio file.
- **Speakers:** distinct speaker labels in the script ("Host1:", "Maya:"); stage directions such as "Music:" or "Note:" are not counted.
- **Use and language:** the use comes from the template the audio was made with, or else from a label an AI model assigned from the title and script. Language is labelled the same way. Both are only counted where a label exists, and each share says which total it uses.
- **Generation time:** from the moment the voice job starts to the stored audio file, for audios made one at a time. Script writing and time in the queue are not included.
- **Thin data:** any finding with fewer than 20 audios behind it is dropped, and languages, uses or templates with fewer than 20 audios are grouped as "Other". Shares are rounded to whole percent; medians, not averages.
- **Privacy:** only totals are published. No title, script, voice or account is shown or shared.
- **Refresh:** recomputed every day. "Data through" is the date of the newest audio counted.
